All content including our subscription posts and our downloadable books and resources are copyrighted to Kererū Publishing and/or the author of the material.
Digital books are for personal use only. Please do not share, resell or upload to the internet.
Subscription resources may be purchased for personal or group use. Please stay within the expectations of the subscription package. Do not share, resell or upload to the internet.
Subscriptions often include material designed to be shared with others in your worshipping community when planning worship gatherings. Permission is given within each resource as to what is appropriate to share and/or adapt. In all cases sharing must meet the following conditions:
1. Sharing to be limited to display on a screen or published in a written order of service or handout, provided it is not shared or published on a website in any form including an online newsletter
2. Acknowledgement of copyright to the respective author of the material
3. Reference Kererū Publishing and the respective resource as the source of the material.
Payment Processing
We do not store or see your credit card details. Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe (for subscriptions/physical books) and Lemon Squeezy (for digital books), both of which are certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1—the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
All subscriptions and physical books are charged in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). Digital books sold via Lemon Squeezy may be charged in your local currency. Currency conversion is handled at the checkout by Lemon Squeezy or Stripe.
Purchasing Subscriptions & Memberships (via Stripe)
All membership subscriptions are managed through Stripe. There are options to be billed either monthly or annually.
Cancellation policy: Members can cancel auto-renewal at any time via their account portal. They will keep access until the end of their current billing cycle. Review our refunds policy for detail on refunds.
We offer a group subscription route including sign-up, payment and management of members. This involves us using MailerLite to store membership information, secure automation tools to transfer necessary data between our email and website platforms and Stripe for managing payments.
Purchasing Digital Books (via Lemon Squeezy)
Our digital books are sold securely through our partner, Lemon Squeezy. When you buy a digital book, Lemon Squeezy is the legal entity you are purchasing from. As a Merchant of Record, they handle the obligations of international sales taxes (VAT/GST) automatically. Our book prices are VAT/GST inclusive. While Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for digital purchases, refund requests should be made to us directly. See our Refunds and Returns policy for details.
Purchasing Physical Books
Physical books are currently only shipped within New Zealand.
Any international orders placed for physical books by mistake will be refunded minus processing fees.
Orders are dispatched via Pass the Parcel through Castle Parcels within 2-3 business days. Please allow up to 7 days for delivery within New Zealand.
Availability
Products/services may change or be withdrawn. Where possible we will provide advance notice of any changes or withdrawals.
Account Security and Responsibility
Users are responsible for keeping login details secure and for activity under their account.
Pricing Changes
From time-to-time prices may change, but any changes won’t affect an already completed purchase. Any changes to subscription charges will be flagged with at least three months’ notice and take effect at the point of renewal.
Governing Law
Our terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand including Privacy Act 2020, Copyright Act 1994, Fair Trading Act 1986, The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Harmful Digital Communications Act 2015 and all other laws.
For the purchase of digital products, Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record) complies with global laws and terms.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kererū Publishing Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, digital products, or subscriptions. This doesn't affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act. We strive to keep our website secure and operational, but we do not guarantee that the site will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Changes to these Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page. By continuing to use the site after changes are made, you agree to the revised terms.
Acceptable Use
We encourage community engagement amongst our members. Participation and interaction in the community is accessed through gated post comments.
The use of appropriate language and tone is expected at all times. We reserve the right to remove, refuse, or close access to comment features without notice where needed for moderation, safety, or legal reasons.
- You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the service, or upload/share infringing material.
- You must not carry out any of the following: content piracy, scraping, unauthorized downloading, sharing account credentials, redistributing proprietary content, or bypassing digital rights management.
- You must not use abusive language. Abusive language includes harassment, hate speech, bullying, threats, or sharing another person's private information without their consent.

Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel accounts if anyone violates these terms & conditions. If your account is terminated due to a serious or repeated breach of these Terms (including piracy, abuse, or fraud), any prepaid fees for the current billing period are non-refundable.
