Kererū Publishing’s dream is to provide resources to engage, encourage and inspire a generation of seed dispersers for the Christian faith and to equip groups of Christian’s together to be church in this changing world. Intentional action is needed to rejuvenate and reinvigorate and engage with the people in our world so that Christian meaning and purpose is accessible, relevant and central to daily living. Our books are creative, thoughtful, resourceful and relevant to the world we live in today.
What we publish
We publish resources for individuals for personal use and for use in preparing material for larger groups such as churches. We publish up to 6 titles a year. We’re very open to new ideas and possibilities and always looking for something fresh and different. We are selective about what we publish so please do not be offended if we turn down your idea.
What we distribute
We distribute some books already published elsewhere. If you have self-published a book or you have the distribution rights to your book and you think your book fits our style we’d love to hear from you. Refer to the book proposal guidelines below and the additional information we need to consider.

An expression of interest from Kererū
Once we’ve received your book proposal we will consider it carefully. We’ll get back to you and let you know if we’re interested or not in having further discussions with you. Our response may not be immediate, but we understand you’ll be keen to hear from us.
If we are interested in the possibility of exploring publishing with you, we may also want to set up a Zoom meeting to discuss how it is best to proceed. An expression of interest is not necessarily a commitment from us that we will publish the final book. We will likely also request to see a section of your manuscript, before confirming our intention to publish.
You retain all rights in submitted material unless and until a separate agreement is signed with Kererū Publishing.
